Earnings-quality check

Compare operating cash flow with reported profit over up to five years.

Manual figures, not verified data. This tool uses only the numbers you type in. It does not look up, check or store company data, so any error in your figures carries through to the results. Use the same unit for every figure (for example ₹ crore) and the same period. Results show arithmetic only. They are not advice.

How to read it

For each year the tool divides operating cash flow by profit after tax (shown only when profit is positive). “All years together” divides total cash flow by total profit. The wording of the reading is a rule of thumb meant to prompt questions, not a verdict. Related: profit is an opinion, cash flow is a test.

Note: These calculators are educational. They do not store, send or look up any data, and they are not investment advice.
